Backcountry Edition

The Backcountry Edition was built to stand out — not just with its performance in extreme winter conditions, but also with its exterior styling. The Xtreme Purple (shown here) or Hydro Blue pearl coat paint are especially striking, but even the more neutral colors get a boost from the hood decal and rear graphics unique to this edition.

As its name suggests, the Backcountry Edition includes many impressive off-roading features. Drivers will benefit from a Trac-Lok rear differential, trail-rated capability, an available Tru-Lok locking rear axle, hill descent control, the Command-Trac 4×4 system, off-road bumpers and rock rails, and BFGoodrich K02 tires. It’s not all rugged capability and raw power, though. The Backcountry’s comfortable interior boasts heated front seats, automatic temperature controls, and sport mesh seat inserts.

Freedom Edition

Freedom

Every detail of the Freedom Edition Wrangler pays homage to the men and women of the U.S. Military. The patriotic star of the Freedom Edition decal can be spotted from any angle, located on the hood, fender, and passenger rear panel. The Oscar Mike badging on the seats and elsewhere is a nod to military radio jargon that translates as “on the move.” Best of all, part of the proceeds from each Freedom Edition sold are donated to the USO to support our troops as they come home.

Black Bear Edition

This Wrangler Unlimited edition was named after the infamous Black Bear Pass in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Full of dramatic switchback turns and open only a few months each year, Black Bear Pass offers breathtaking views for those daring enough to drive it.

To help you tackle its namesake and whatever other challenges you choose to undertake, the Black Bear Edition of the Jeep Wrangler comes equipped with a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine, the Command-Trac 4×4 system, and Goodyear SilentArmor tires. Everything from the sport bar grab handles to the hill descent control were designed with off-roading in mind. For the full effect, deck out the hood with a topographical map of Black Bear Pass, and an exclusive gloss-black Wrangler decal.

Willys Wheeler Edition

Unlike editions that offer only full-door or no-door options, the Willys Edition Wrangler can be outfitted with half doors. Its styling, complete with special badging, was inspired by the original Willys CJ-3A. The included Connectivity Group features Uconnect Voice Command, which allows hands-free communication with a voice-activated system via your Bluetooth-compatible phone. Deep tint windows, Rubicon rock rails, Trac-Lok rear differential, Command-Trac 4×4 system, and a trail-rated off-roading kit round out the vehicle.

Rubicon Hard Rock Edition

Rather than striking a balance between capability and comfort, the Rubicon Hard Rock Edition maximizes both. With a starting MSRP of $41,795, it is one of the most expensive Jeep Wranglers on the market — but also one of the most luxurious. High-end interior features include heated and leather-trimmed front seats, Uconnect Voice Command, a graphic cluster overlay, and a premium Alpine nine-speaker audio system, which includes an all-weather subwoofer and two weather-resistant tweeters.

The Rubicon Hard Rock Edition combines many of the best features of other limited edition models with a few stand-outs of its own. The air vents in the power dome hood keep the engine cool and performing well, and heavy gauge steel skid plates protect vital parts from hazards like loose rocks. The Rock-Trac 4×4 system, found only on Rubicon models, handles steep inclines and other obstacles superbly. Front and rear Tru-Lock lockers, electronic sway-bar disconnect, fog lights, and removable bumper end caps further improve this Wrangler’s off-road performance.

75th Anniversary Edition

A full 75 years have passed since the U.S. Military began using the Willys MB during World War II. To commemorate this anniversary, Jeep is offering an anniversary edition of the Wrangler, a descendant of the original military Jeep. Details exclusive to this edition include the Sarge exterior color option, bronze trim, premium wheels, and anniversary edition badges. You can also take advantage of an electronic rear locker, a heavy duty suspension with gas shocks, and a power dome hood with functional air vents for the 285 hp V6 engine.

Regardless of which edition you choose, you will be impressed by the off-road ability and signature style of your new Jeep Wrangler. With nothing else to hold you back, your future outdoor adventures will be limited only by your own imagination.
